Its that time of year again when the garden gets a rest. We are now closed until April next year.

We have a variety of different rowan trees in the gardens. This is the beautiful Sorbus Joseph Rock.
We are so lucky to have lots of wildlife in and around the gardens. A great opportunity to pause for a moment. We have lots of birds around still at the moment.
Finally some rain to fill the streams and water the plants. This is the Rosa Marigold found in the front garden terrace. Even on a wet day there is something beautiful to see!
The gardens are not all about the formal front garden, there are little corners of peace for everyone.
The gardens are really starting to bloom just as we open back up to the public. The rockery is especially looking great at the moment.
The gardens are opening tomorrow Saturday 1st May. Hand sanitizer is at the donation box and by the gate from the ruins to the front garden.
Unfortunately there will not be a public toilet available this year.
We are hoping to open the gardens again on the 1st May.
